Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival on the 9th June 2026, where it is nominated for Best Documentary Feature. Directed by Jyllian Gunther and Stephanie Schwam, and produced by Sarah Jessica Parker's Pretty Matches Productions, the film profiles Robin Byrd — host of The Robin Byrd Show, the cult sex-positive cable access programme that ran on Manhattan's Channel J from 1977 to 1998 and became a landmark of New York countercultural television.
