Concert Premiere of Da Ponte
Westwind Orchard will host the premiere of the new musical comedy Da Ponte.
The work follows the life of the famous librettist, his partnership with Mozart and how he came to run a grocery store in New Jersey. It features operatic favourites from Mozart, as well as original music from Roger.
It was written by Niel Cohen, and the recital will feature tenor Marc Molomot, soprano Katherine KC Peck, mezzo-soprano Madison Marie McIntosh and baritone Will Remmers.
