Season 5 Premiere of Mom

Mom will return for its fifth season on the 2nd November at 9/8c on CBS. Roger continues his work on the show, creating and curating the weekly score for Mom from a vast collection of 18th and 19th century classical music sources. In any given episode one will hear the music of Mozart, Haydn, Meyerbeer, Rossini and dozens of other classical masters, adapted into Mom's eclectic underscore. The main title for Mom is Mikhail Glinka's lively "Russian and Lyudmila Overture," composed in 1842. Roger's role as music consultant is to continue in the spirit of that famous opener, creating a counterpoint to Mom's stories about women in recovery. A creation of renowned show runner Chuck Lorre, it will reach its 100th episode this season.
